So Lil Joe Can you tell us about yourself where you come from?

I spent most of my childhood on the North side of Houston and in Port Arthur, TX. I remember I use to write rhymes about anything and everything in elementary school, playful stuff mainly, but that¡¦s where it started you know. My 1st passion has always been basketball I was cold matter fact still am cold as hell. I played at North Shore and got a scholarship to play JC ball at Rose State College for 2 years and on top of that ya boy received All-American Honors and received another scholarship to start at PG for Pittsburg State. I got the name Lil Joe from my family; My father Big Joe and I¡¦m Lil Joe. Make sense right, but doesn¡¦t make much today cause I got him a lil bit on the size. LOL

That¡¦s Cool So, You gave us a little insight how Lil Joe got in the rap game, but what has driven that passion and makes you do you

Like I was saying earlier I started writing in elementary matter of fact one of my Teachers had me rap over the intercom for da whole school for this TAAS Test, and then the principal would have me do all sorts of stuff like when the Houston Rockets went to the finals. Ya boy been nice for a minute ƒº But I¡¦m inspired by everything around me from the past, present, and future that my life holds and I promise to give my fans the best of me through my instrument that God has blessed me with

No doubt, So what other artists have had an impact on you in a positive way and you consider there music influential?

I like to listen to artists that I can relate to and that create inspiration through there music to help get through the problems that come with life and really saying some real shit, Like Z-RO. I think chamillionaire, Lil Wayne, Boosie and Webbie nice as well. I definitely feel Z-RO a lot cause that dude done went through some things way worse than I have, but I can still relate to a lot of stuff he is saying. I believe if a brotha can get through things like that I can make through anything as well. I listen to Chamillionaire and Lil Wayne because like to hear some flyshit sometimes and hear things no other rapper has touched yet, and they love what they do because they bleed through the music. Then sometimes I like to go to da Club and make it happen on some Boosie or Webbie type jams.

So What should your fans expect from your album Lil Joe?

Basically a Lil bit of everything from some Down South Bangers to the Club Rockers maybe a few mash-ups on some Rock type shit who knows that¡¦s why you will have to go get you a copy when it come out. LOL, Also of Course my partner in crime Fluid will bring you guys a totally different style, and then William H. Wizard is always whipping up some Hot Trackz so this album is gonna be wicked.
