Lillian Thoms

BandRockAcoustic

Since childhood Lillian Thom's has been inspired by voices of iconic females Martha Davis, Chrissie Amphlett and of course Chrissie Hynde. This artist has gone onto create a style and identity, combining an inimitable voice with a musical mix of soulful Rock and a dark edge of Country and Blues.

Biography

Lillian Thoms has come along way from her days in the background working at Shock Records Melbourne Australia. Wanting to strike a balance between her industry savvy and the craft of music Lillian went onto study music fulltime and then launch into a career that fast tracked her late start. The critically acclaimed debut album 'Hit The Ground' was released in late 2006 and Lillian and her band have toured it ever since performing non stop with Australian music industry luminaries such as Tex Perkins, Renee Geyer, Grace Knight and Charlie Owens.
The album was recorded with producer Jamie Durrant and had an amazing array of talented musicians on board.
Stride forward to 2007/08 and Lillian is about to tour Europe with the Australian Export Tour and then Europe again next year with rock afficiando Nick Barker and onto Canada.
A busy time for a busy performer who is also currently working on her new EP due for release in early 2008. Lillian's sound is edgy and dark, driven by a ballsey raw vocal that will be capturing audiences and hearts all over the world.
