Stanley High School student releases hip-hop album with TMG
MANSFIELD, La. – Tate Music Group announces the release of local hip-hop artist, Lil Loony’s new album, “I’m Him.” Lil Loony (Dameon Hall) is a Stanley High School student making early strides in a music career with this debut project, which draws influence from such rap artists as Lil Bossie and Tyga.
Produced by Tate Music Group, the album includes 11 tracks, and is currently available nationwide at the iTunes Store, CDBaby.com, or directly from TateMusicGroup.com.
Hall was born in Lynwood, Calif., but lived in Palmdale, Calif., until he was 10 and his mother moved the family to Louisiana in 2003. This high-schooler’s behavioral problems stem from pure creativity. He reports getting in trouble for writing songs, stories, and notes during class. One incident in particular catapulted Hall toward his current endeavors. A teacher read Hall’s latest scrawling and found that he was writing what she thought was a really good short story. She submitted the story to the local Young Authors Club, which awarded him first place in their student contest. From there, Hall found inspiration around every corner. The young artist also plays drums for his local church near his home in Mansfield, La.

Lil Loony (Dameon Hall) was born in Lynwood, CA and raised in Palmdale, CA in a single parent household until he was 10 years old. In 2003, his mother moved the family to Louisiana where he now attends Stanley High School.
At one time, he was punished regularly for writing while in class and failing to pay attention. Until one particular teacher paid attention and decided to read the notes being furiously jotted by the young scribe. She was astonished to find her seemingly distracted student was actually tending and penning the roots of what was a very good story.
She submitted the story to the Young Authors Club which garnered Lil Loony 1st place, publication of his story and a feature article about his achievements in the local newspapers.
Inspired, Dameon soon combined his lyrical skills with his other passion, music. He is also a talented drummer who plays regularly for his home church.
From punished to published to, this young entrepreneur has excellent work ethic, great creativity, smash hits and unshakable plans already in motion and succeeding!
