Lil' Mama Jones takes you back to the 1st hey day of blues, when it was played in backwoods juke joints that served liquor was made in local stills. From the style of music, to the dress, to the moves and the moods, this is blues at it's purest form. Lil' Mama Jones' original songs and one of a kind wailing will have you roaring with laughter one moment, and loading your pistol to go find the one who done you wrong the next. Her childhood influences are Bessie Smith, Lena Horne and Mahalia Jackson. The undisputed queen of Arkansas' River Blues Society, her shows are never an occassion to mention, but an event to be remembered! Lil' Mama Jones has no past story, as that she only lives in the here and now, so enjoy the show while you can.
