Lil Mic

Larry Thomas born and raised in a small town in South Texas called Stowell. Born to a poor family, just like most of the rapper out these days, always tries to be the best at all he does. Through all the struggles that he deals with in his life he still manages to rise above the occasion. He grew listening to mostly chopped and screwed music. Some of his influences are Lil Keke, Phat Pat, and Big Pokey.

In 2002 he graduated high school and enlisted into the U.S. Army to get away from all the drama and mayhem in his hood. He arrived to his first duty station which was Germany. With most of his unit deployed to Iraq Lil Mic was just looking to meet new people but there were few people around that actually spoke hip hop. So he walked out into the streets of Swetizengen Germany. One day he was walking down the street looking for some people to socialize with, made it 2 blocks down the street from the base and heard music coming for this house on the corner of the street. Without hesitation he walked up to the front door and knocked. A Germany lady that barely spoke English answer the door. Lil mic did the best he could to communicate with the woman but she couldn’t understand. He then ask music? And the woman replied, yes my son. She escorted Lil Mic down to the basement when here son was with three of his friends recording music. They took lil mic right in. He told them that he rap but he never record in a studio. He would always rap here and there with his friends back in the states but nothing serious. Before you know it Lil Mic was rapping everyday. Realizing that he was getting better he just keep at it. With numerous tours to Iraq he had even more time to put some fine tuning on his skills. He met some other rappers in the service along the way and just kept making connections. Now he’s ready for the next level hungry to be heard it shows through his southern style music.
