Atlanta, Georgia has become a household name in Hip Hop all over the world, due to the success of the city’s many stars and the Down South lifestyle they represent. If you’ve been Downtown to Five Points or on the West Side of the “A”, you’ve probably bumped into “Lil’ Mickey” aka “Mickey Jackson”. He is more than just a familiar face in the city, he is affectionately referred to as “Lil Brother” in the local Hip Hop community, which helped raise him. He is famous for his creativity in dancing, songwriting and fashion, like a modern day B-Boy, but from the South!
From East to West he is known in dance ciphers for his slick steps. He has taught and assisted many big stars with their coreography for music videos and live shows. In the city that has become as famous for its dances as it is for its beautiful strippers, Mickey has mastered all of them such as the “A-Town Stomp”, “Bankhead Bounce”, “Walk It Out”, “Snap Finger” etc. which have been made famous in Hip-Hop clubs all over the world. Of course he has made many appearances in videos for the local big names such as T.I., Ciara and Lil Jon, just to name a few.
