Lil Mizz

Shondemere Angela Camp “Lil Mizz” was born in New Orleans Louisiana to Shavonda A. Kidd and Gary Peter Camp. She is the youngest of four children. “Lil Mizz” and her family moved to Atlanta Georgia a few months before Hurricane Katrina. She is seventeen years old and in the eleventh grade. While in middle school, “Lil Mizz” joined the orchestra at Sandtown Middle school, under the direction of Mrs. Wellingham. While in the orchestra, she first learned to play the Bass and took on other string instruments. She is now in high school in the advance orchestra. She is self-taught to play the cello, acoustic guitar and the violin. She can read and write music. “Lil Mizz” writes all of her own songs/raps, while her younger brother makes the tracks. Her two older brothers also play musical instruments as well as write and compose music. This got “Lil Mizz” interested in rhyming (RAP). She is now recording at the Slam Jamz South studio in GA with Triniti. Triniti has done the recording/mixing for all of her songs. “Lil Mizz” has been an extra in the movies Double Jeopardy with “Ashley Judd” and “Tommy Lee Jones” and the movie Mr. 3000 with “Bernie Mac“. She has been in school plays and her first talent show in June of 2008. She has also performed in one showcase in the fall of 2008. She has also taken some acting classes. “Lil Mizz” is currently recording several songs to be released (no date given at this time). She was in the school's talent show on May 16, 2009.
