Zane Copeland Jr. aka Lil' Zane was born a star!! Determined to be discovered, Zane formed a teen rap group called, Kronic, by the age of 10. Landing a deal with Kaper/ RCA in 1993, although they never released a album, Zane was able to learn from and work with legendary artists like ABC, Naughty By Nature, Erick Sermon, Busta Rhymes, and Dallas Austin. After they parted ways, Zane continued to pursue his dream with a solo effort, landing a featured spot of 112's hit "Anywhere", and releasing his critically acclaimed debut album, Young World; The Future, on Priority records in August 2000. Zane is also one of the very few rap artists to tour with r&b sensations like Whitney Houston, Avante', and Genuine. He also was featured on the first ever scream tour with Bow Wow and B2k and appeared in major box office films alongside Sean Connery in Finding Forrester, Eddie Murphy and Raven Symone in Dr. Dolittle 2, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Beyonce in The Fighting Temptations, and Vivica A. Fox in Motives. In the Future, you look for Zane to co star in upcoming films such as A Day in the life with Sticky Fingaz and Michael Rapport, Diary of a Champion with Michael Pagan and Tiny Lester, Cuttin' Da Mustard with Charles S. Dutton, Sinbad and Brandon T. Jackson, After Autumn with Sundy Cater, and Skeletons in the Desert.
