Formed in February 2012, Lincoln Don't Lie joins the talents of Wisconsin natives, Eric Dobson (drums/vocals) and Dana Balicki (guitar) who have have been playing together for years in variety of original and cover projects. Most recently, Dana and Eric were part of the alternative rock band, FRESH NUTS, where they met bassist, Jeff Thompson whose musical resume is vast. Together, these three provide a foundation for Tarah to work her magic and provide audiences more than just a cover song but an interpretation and performance like no other.
In the fall of 2012, LDL welcomed seasoned musicians and songwrtiers, Mike Echlin and Chris Walke. The addition of Mike on keyboards, guitars and vocals as well as Chris on pedal and lap steel has brought the LDL sound to the next level.
The name Lincoln Don't Lie highlights the band's origin in Illinois and its pride in the awesomeness of the Midwest., Like Abe, the band is honest in its focus on delivering great performances and choosing great music.
