"Lincoln Schofield has obviously studied hard at the Woody Guthrie - Bruce Springsteen school of singer-songwriter performance... Like Woody and Bruce before him, Schofield's instruments to educate the masses are a dutiful singing voice, ringing guitars and shoot-from-the-gut lyrics." (Mark Bialczak, Music Critic).

Raised on the west side of Syracuse, Lincoln Foley Schofield now performs as LINC, based out of New York City. He is the son of a professor of philosophy and organic farmer who raised him on folk music and ol' time rock 'n roll. He grew up next to the Onondaga Indian Reservation where he started playing lacrosse and hockey at the age of 4.

When he was 18 he saw Springsteen perform with the E Street Band from the 3rd row and that set the course of his life.

At 19 he fell deeply in love with Stevie Ray Vaughn & Buddy Guy, and developed his own rock 'n roll guitar style out of the blues giants he studied.

Through personal struggles and losses over the coming years, Lincoln would translate the stories of his own life into songs that we can all relate to. A born leader and natural performer, LINC and his talented band are bringing their straight ahead rock 'n roll to a national audience.
