Lincoln's Beard

Lincoln’s Beard is an alternative folk band from Vancouver, Washington. Formed in summer 2007, the band members include Washington native Tyler Morgan (piano, mandolin, trumpet), North Carolina transplant Dwayne Spence (bass, banjo) and Ohio born Kristopher Chrisopulos (guitar, vocals). Lincoln’s Beard plays ole’ time folk accented with a manic trumpet and lyrical subjects that uproot the darker sides of love in the old south. Although the songs are mostly influenced by old english folk songs, the delivery is not "old" or "folky". LB performs with the intensity of a rabbid dog at times, but their good humor and self depricating banter make a good balance for a fun show.
