"Review of Debut CD"

Critical Review:
Sent by Diana Scotts,
Executive Agent for Maestro K. Prashant

"In my years of touring, performing and teaching as an Indian Classical musician, I have had the honor of collaborating with leading Western artists such as Yo Yo Ma, Peter Gabriel, Mickey Hart and Itzhak Perlman. Upon hearing the music of Linda Battiste, I was stirred so very deeply. Her songs touched me with their simple elegance, depth of artistic zeal, and soulful words which immediately penetrate the most guarded hearts and truly enlighten that part of each of us which we know is the spirit. Linda's music is transcendant. This level, this effect can only be acquired by an artist of such calibre that clearly lives her life as she creates her music; on the soul level...without even a trace of the superficial or mundane. I admire Linda's ability to touch the spirit of the song she is performing to transform the listener, and thus transport him to a realm known before only to the greatest minds. I know that only the most glorious future awaits her and am honored to share the world's stage with her."
