My eighteen-month-old daughter Sydney loves listening to these wonderful songs, wherever she may be. She especially likes to listen to them when she is going to sleep for the night. While riding in the car, if I have your songs on, when I change to other music, she whines until I change it back. These songs are also enjoyable for the young at heart!
---Paige and Sydney

I just shared your butterfly song with my 7-year-old daughter, Jessica, who is a butterfly fan, and we both smiled our way through the song. It is truly an inspiration to discover you have pursued your passion of music after all your years of children at home. I shared with Jessica that God gives us talents for a purpose and will bless us with the time to put them to His useÉwe just have to put the first things first! ---Kris and Jessica

Live in the Moment, Now!

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

Live in the Moment, Now!

Twirling and spinning
Into the sky.
Dolphins so joyfully,
Bubbling so high.
Mother come join us,
Come take time to play.
Live in the moment, now!

Chorus:
Live in the moment, now.
Live in the moment, now.
Mother come join us,
Come take time to play.
We want to share our joy.

Water is glistening under the sun.
Frothy blue waves
Beckon little ones.
Mother calls out
With a loving high pitch,
I want to share your joy.

Twirling and spinning
Into the sky.
Dolphins so joyfully,
Bubbling so high.
Mother joins in
With her little ones,
Live in the moment, now!

Chorus:
Live in the moment, now.
Live in the moment, now.
Mother come join us,
Come take time to play.
We want to share our joy.

Twirling and spinning
Into the sky.
Dolphins so joyfully,
Bubbling so high.
Mother please join us,
Please take time to play,
Live in the moment, now!

Bring It In

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

Bring It In
Intro: Bring it in, bring it in...

What makes you happy?
What helps you to be your best?
Riding your horse?
Petting the cat?
Chasing the dog
Through the grass?

Chorus:
Bring it in, bring it in,
Bring into your life the joy.
Bring it in, bring it in,
Bring into your life the light.

Smell petals blooming,
Watch the waves roll in.
Jump on your bike,
Race with a friend.
Dance in the cool moonlight.

Bridge: Instumental

Chorus:
Bring it in, bring it in,
Bring into your life the joy.
Bring it in, bring it in,
Bring into your life the light.

Hike up the hill.
Visit a friend.
Cook a great new dish.
Shop at the mall.
Read a new book.
Smile and laugh.
Speak only good.
Learn the lesson now.

Just bring it in,
Yes bring it in,
Bring into your life the joy.

Stepping Stones

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

Stepping Stones

The water shimmering,
Glistening in the breeze.
The water deep and cold,
Calls to me, calls to me:
Come to the other side.

Come to the other side.
Come to the other side.
It’s a paradise;
A golden slice of life.
It’s a paradise for all.

Can’t swim, the water’s deep.
Can’t see the shore’s safe edge.
Wishing that I could claim
That paradise now.
Rippling water rushes by
And stepping-stones appear.
Stepping stones,
Stepping stones
Strong and firm.
Stepping stones,
Stepping stones
Lead the way.

Follow each step carefully
And you will never fail.
Stepping stones of happiness,
Stepping stones of joy,
Confidence, empowerment,
Lead me to my home.

Come to the other side.
Come to the other side.
It’s a paradise,
A golden slice of life.
It’s a paradise for all.

Stepping stones, stepping stones,
Lead me to my home.

Butterflies Dance

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

BUTTERFLIES DANCE

I sit on the hill gazing in awe
As the wispy white wings pass me by.
Lilting are they as they dart about
Searching for something more.

Butterfly dance! Dance all alone.
Rejoice in your beauty and love.
Butterfly knows she is divine
As she lands on the petals nearby.

Along comes a brilliant pair of wings
And circles in the sky.
No petals will do till the search is through
And he finds his angel friend.

He lands by her side, swirls lift to the sky.
In the heavens a union is blessed.
Full of love and delight a new world is in sight
And joyfully off they go.

Butterflies dance! Lift up your wings.
The future is yours to write.
Unspotted and fresh
What will you make of this gift?

Butterflies dance! Dance and have fun.
Find joy in every day.
While you follow your dreams
Then sit on the petals and rest.

Butterflies smile! Be honest and true,
Direct in all you say.
Show love and be kind;
Gratefully live each day.

Butterflies treasure what you’ve found.
Honor your love with care and respect.
See the divinity in your hearts.
Then butterflies dance, eternally dance.

I Believe in Miracles

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

I Believe in Miracles

All I ever wanted was a home of my own.
Someone to laugh with, children to hold close.
All I ever wanted was a miracle or two,
Just a world created with love

I believe in miracles,
They happen everyday.
I believe in miracles,
Chasing fears and doubts away.

I trusted and loved--life let me down.
It's beauty covered with haze.
Drying my tears I tried to smile.
Knowing miracles were near.

I believe in miracles,
They happen everyday.
I believe in miracles,
Bringing love and trust to stay.

See miracles healing families.
Miracles changing hearts.
With love and understanding
True oneness starts.

Yes, I believe in miracles,
They happen everyday.
I believe in miracles
Mending hearts in families.

Great To See You Once Again

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

Great To See You Once Again

Have you ever met a stranger you knew?
Have you ever felt the joy
Of recognition, warmth of friendship,
Part of family that was lost?

CHORUS:

Great to see you, really see you,
Touch your hand and hug you tight.
Great to see you, great to see you,
Great to gaze into your eyes.
Great to see you once again.

Have you ever heard the magical words,
I think I know you; I really know you.
And light swirls around you.
Hearts sing and dance with joy.
Two souls have touched each other.
Great to see you once again.

CHORUS:

Great to see you, really see you.
Touch your hand and hug you tight.
Great to see you, great to see you,
Great to gaze into your eyes.
Great to see you once again.

My dear brother, my dear sister,
We will dwell in unity.
Living lives to bless each other,
Great to see you once again.

CHORUS:

Great to see you, really see you.
Touch your hand and hug you tight.
Great to see you, ‘great to see you,
Great to gaze into your eyes.
Great to see you once again.

Solving the Riddles of Life

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

Solving the Riddles of Life

Gazing into the crib,
Pondering the life she lives.
What does the future hold?
Nights are long, still her heart's full of hope.

Chorus:
Solving the riddles of life.
She is solving the riddles of life.
Softly the answers come.
She is solving the riddles of life.

Listening to all the noise,
Little ones playing with toys,
Happy voices around,
Busy time--is life passing too fast?

Chorus:
Solving the riddles of life.
She is solving the riddles of life.
Softly the answers come.
She is solving the riddles of life.

Now, through the window she sighs.
The grass is growing so high.
Swing set's covered with leaves,
Children gone: Wondering now what's in store?

Phone rings, it's the kids.
Then classes today with a friend.
Discovering talents to share,
Blessing the world with her care.
.
Chorus:
Solving the riddles of life.
She is solving the riddles of life.
Softly the answers come.
She is solving the riddles of life.

And the answers are so clear,
Love your neighbor dear.
Feel the heavenly light,
In your heart shining bright,
She has the answers now.
(Tag)
And she is solving the riddles of life.

Where Did The Music Go?

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

WHERE DID THE MUSIC GO?

Where did the music go?
When did my heart grow chilled?
When did I lose the joy
That once filled up my soul?

Where did the music go?
When did my voice grow cold?
When did I cease to sing?
Releasing my words in song.

Frozen I lived my life,
Not able to feel the love.
Frozen I watched my world,
Move about without me.

Then the sun peeked through,
Melting the silent pain.
Showing the lesson clear,
Teaching to love again.

Teaching to love again,
Learning the lesson there.
Bringing harmony in,
Singing the songs of life.

Butterfly, Land On Me

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

I run to the hillside
To see what I can see.
A yellow speckled pair of wings
Is flying straight towards me.

It rests on the flowers
While folding up its wings.
Then lifts and swirls into the sky
Soon flying right past me!

Butterfly, soft butterfly,
Won't you land on me?
Butterfly, soft butterfly
Won't you land on Me?

I call out so softly,
"Please, won't you be my friend?"
But little wings just wave good-bye
While twirling in the wind.

Butterfly, soft butterfly,
Won't you land on me?
Butterfly, soft butterfly
Won't you land on me?

I only want to see you;
Won't do you any harm.
Just want to feel the tickle
As you land on my arm.

Butterfly, soft butterfly,
Won't you land on me?
Butterfly, soft butterfly,
Won't you land on me

Then I stand very still
And to my delight,
Butterfly lands on me!

The sun's gone to bed, the moonlight is here,
Are you hoping your furry friend is found?
As you head for sleepy-time town.

Now he's coming to tuck you in real tight,
Keeping you so warm in the night.

Rainbow Bubble, Studio

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

Verse 1:
One morning in the sun, I play a favorite trick.
From rainbow colored water, I create magic worlds.
Blowing carefully, into the slippery film,
A silky, shiny bubble grows in front of me.

Chorus:
Rainbow bubble covers me,
With heavenly light.
Rainbow bubble dances in the air,
And fills me with delight.

Verse 2:
IÕd like to float away, take a ride for the day,
See meadows in the sunrise, while drifting in blue skies.
Lift me in the breeze, to lands of mystery,
Where fairies on the flowers, smile and wave to me.

Chorus:
Rainbow bubble covers me,
With heavenly light.
Rainbow bubble dances in the air,
And fills me with delight.

Bridge:
Rainbow bubble in the sky
Carries me so high,
Bouncing over hills and meadows.
Showing me a world, of happiness and joy.
Showing me a world to care for.

Chorus:
Rainbow bubble covers me,
With heavenly light.
Rainbow bubble dances in the air,
And fills me with delight.

Rainbow bubble covers me,
With heavenly light.
Rainbow bubble dances in the air,
And fills me with delight.

She Planted the Seeds

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

Verse 1
Such a bright, sunny day for planting the seeds
Now she's picturing how her flowers will grow.
A heaven this garden of color will be
When all the seeds are sown.

Chorus:
She planted the seeds, the sweet precious seeds,
Carefully the seeds were sown.
She put them to bed, in the soft earth to rest,
And trusted that they would grow.

Verse 2
Then the rains spilled down, the priceless seeds slept,
And one day the warm sun peeked through.
She found on her hillside blooms bursting anew.
Standing with tall weeds that grew.

Chorus:
She planted the seeds, the sweet precious seeds,
carefully the seeds were sown.
She put them to bed, In the soft earth to rest,
And trusted that they would grow.

Bridge:
Then she pulled out the weeds that choked the new blooms,
So the beauty of life could be.
And the weeds recycled into the dirt,
To become one with earth once more.

Chorus:
She planted the seeds, the sweet precious seeds,
Carefully the seeds were sown.
She put them to bed, In the soft earth to rest,
And trusted that they would grow.

Just Like You

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

Verse 1
Opening her eyes, sunÕs streaming in,
Peeking its way through white shutters.
List'ning, to noise so close to her head,
As giggling round faces jump on the bed.

Showering them with kisses she says:

CHORUS
I want to be just like you,
Just like you.
I want to share laughter and fun,
Just like you.

Verse 2
Thump! On the bed furry ball lands,
Wiggling and licking their noses .
Curly tail wagging, brushing soft hands,
Then sniffing the sweetness, snuggling so close.

Now, stroking puppy she says:

CHORUS:
I want to be just like you,
Just like you.
I want to share laughter and fun,
Just like you.

Bridge:
Everyone has so much to give,
Let me moment by moment live.
Cherubs and fur balls, chubby arm hugs,
SheÕs feeling lifeÕs river flowing within.
They jump in her arms as she says,

CHORUS: REPEAT

I Have a Little Child in Me

Written By: Linda Kay Burk

I Have a Little Child in Me

Verse 1
I have a little child in me,
A child that loves to laugh and play.
When bored with things I often do,
I remember that little child.

That little child loves fantasy,
Silly stories and make-believe.
Spies on the fairies, then builds a tall fort.
Or lies in the cool, green grass.

Chorus:
Oh child come and play with me,
We'll take a walk and sit under a tree.
Quietly we'll watch the squirrels chase,
Their long furry tails.

Verse 2
Climb on the bars, coast down the slide,
Hike up the hill, to see the world.
When dark gray clouds come rumbling by,
Then itÕs time to run to the house.

Sing funny songs, laugh till you drop.
Write a new story, then read with mom.
Bake yummy cookies, that melt in your mouth,
While cuddling upon the couch.

Chorus:
Oh child come and play with me,
We'll take a walk and sit under a tree.
Quietly we'll watch the squirrels chase,
Their long furry tails.

Quietly weÕll watch the squirrels chase,
Their long furry tails.

Their long furry tails.

While sharing a bubbly laugh.

When the day is done,
Into the pillows she hides.
