Lindsay Adams

My name is Lindsay Adams, and I have never considered myself to be a musician or songwriter. It is only in the last four years that this whole desire and dream has come about. I have always loved beautiful music and loved to sing. When I was in middle school, I took piano lessons for the first time and loved it. As I got older, I began playing with a youth band for church and learned to play by chords. After that, the whole "song writing adventure" began. One day, after going through a tough time, I sat down at the piano at Mom and Dad's house and just began to play chords. Then, words came out of nowhere it seemed. The truth is those words were a comfort to me of how God was with me even in my darkness. It was like He was wrapping His arms around me through them. I was twenty years old. I am now twenty-four, and I am elementary education teacher in Mississippi. I have written a total of seven songs, and I have ideas for others. My desire in all of this is not to be a star. It's not to be heard even. It is to encourage people driving down the road upset or sitting in their rooms feeling hopeless. I just want these songs to be used to honor Him and remind people going through rough times that He is there.
