Bio

Frank Hopkins

Doesn't sleep much. He is the owner of Sweet Dream Recording, a private project studio in southern Maine. He has worked with a long a-list of great regional musicians, and has now begun that rarest of new projects: a jam band that, while technically proficient, sings songs with originality and heart.. their name is 'Line of Force', and it shows.
Frank has recently been signed to Eve Of The Atom Records, but has played guitar and/or keyboards with The Kenya Hall Band, Adam and the Waxmen, Big D and the Kids Table, members of Seepeoples, Strange Pleasure, Katrina Abramo, and many more.

Charles Edward Prinn IV

Born of the drum and forged in the fire of the ladies who swoon at his every snare pop, the mighty arms of Chuck Prinn will steamroll your heart and smack your ass. Don't even think about running, just tuck into a Knob Creek on the rocks, put on some cheap sunglasses, and groove the night away.
Chuck's smooth funk and rock grooves for regional soul heroes 'Adam and The Waxmen' have earned him the moniker of 'The White Bernard Purdie' and the coveted drum seat in Line Of Force.

Josh Robbins
The unadulterated fury of a fully functional RobbinsMachine can send shockwaves rippling through multiple city blocks. He has done other acclaimed things, like the 'Sumner Mckane Group' and 'The Returnables', but as he exists partially in the future, his role in the band is sort of a mystery to the rest of the band members. No one has ever quite seen anything like it, nor can you really see it, because he's vibrating at generally a higher rate than the rest of humanity. Can you really understand a guy like Buckethead? or Les Claypool? Josh is kinda in that nebulous territory of dimension.

'Hatin' Mat Leighton
Mat 'Longtone' Leighton has charmed middle-aged women on cruise ships the world over. There is no picture of him to date as he is an amorphous being of light, constantly changing chameleon-like to his surroundings. He plays some pretty mean soaring horn melodies though, so we feed him his ectoplasm and keep hoping one day he'll find himself and soar off into the atmosphere.

Dave 'FishBurgers?' No yes
Dave is an arranging and trombone playing genius who is going to wake up one day and realize he's too cool for Line Of Force. Until then, we will take advantage of his sublime sense of harmony and hip approach to horns and life whenever he's not being way more awesome with rock heroes 'Rustic Overtones' somewhere.

The Right Reverend Adam Montminy
A preacher of the gospel of cool, the good Reverend will flatten a bar pretty quick with chi-slaps of cool from a horn or a bass. He has appeared on fine records from 'Hamilton County' and afro-cuban stalwarts 'Grupo Esperanza' and has played professionally in Maine for many years. Line Of Force may change that.
