Lines And Spaces

Lines And Spaces

Combine two classically-trained musicians with a love for eclectic songwriting and a feel for the blues, and what do you get? Lines and Spaces - the performing duo of Sharon Udoh and Jen Wheatley.

Sharon been playing the piano for more than two decades and have been composing for a little under half of that. Jen has been playing the cello for more than 15 years. As can be guessed, they are two extremely accomplished musicians, and their classical flair makes its way into their modern boogie-style writing and performances, and in this way, Lines and Spaces is very unique.

Did you hear about the feline?
Curiosity became her end.
But minding your own business
was the equivalent of death for us!

Good intentions lead to nowhere-
I never heard the telephone ring.
Practice what you preach, my baby.
The soapbox shouldn't be your throne.

Never Fail, Never Leave

You have gone very far from me, and never failed to return; winding ways, many means, you're leaping back on my radar.

I never would guess you'd have such a hold, as you take root deep inside my soul.

Control Freak

Lord, I'm wigging out and I need help from you to deal with things that I cannot change.
We both know that I know that you know what's best for me, dealing with the things I cannot change.

I don't even know where I get off thinking I have control of things I cannot change.
I wish I could just sit down and take a chill pill and just deal with things I cannot change.
