Linnea Skold

Linnea Skold is a young multi-talented singer, songwriter, and pianist on the rise from Dallas, Texas. A Lorde-Meets-Lady-Gaga talent, Linnea’s debuted her first original piece, “Stone by Stone,” in Fall 2018.

Embarking on her musical journey at just five years old with piano lessons, Linnea became the 2011 National Finalist at the Roland Piano Festival in Los Angeles under the direction of teacher Kristin Yost. With a taste of competition prizes, performing in front of larger and larger crowds, and writing music around competition-selected themes, Linnea’s passion for writing and performing grew into stunning original works.

Linnea has developed a keen sense of melody and arrangement in her original music. Growing up immersed in 80s music, Michael Jackson, Journey, Scorpion, and more left a lasting impression that can be heard in Linnea’s music - catchy pop melodies with encouraging and soulful lyrics beyond her years.

Linnea’s strong vocal skills are on full display in her debut single, “Stone by Stone.” The single was produced by Nigel Rivers - a bassist, guitarist, and producer who has worked with the likes of Erykah Badu, Medicine Man Revival, Bobby Sessions, Gladys Night, and more. Paired with a lyric video featuring stunning footage of the beautiful country of Croatia, where this song was written, the song thematically touches on perseverance and strength inspired by the huge limestone walls of Dubrovnik’s ancient city.
