Lion Luciano

Lion aka Luciano refuses to restrict his craft to one genre – a master of the hook, Lion’s diverse cultural background between the Bahamas and Canada not only inspired him from many angles but also challenged him to learn West Coast, East Coast, Southern Trap and Reggae styles. His talent was evident early on in his life, where church talent shows led into opening for D.M.X. in Nassau, Bahamas, which led into working with BET in Washington, DC. And it’s all brought him to the place where he is now – an ambitious founding member of Edmonton’s Come Up Gang.

He grinds in the studio, but Lion’s many talents allow him to take care of the behind-the-scenes aspects of the crew as well; he’s the official sales rep for Come Up Gang, and facilitates each member’s studio time and marketing. As if that wasn’t enough, Lion’s also found time to share the stage with artists like Raekwon, GZA and Chamillionaire, while collaborating with Mad Child, Moka Only, Onyx, Planet Asia and Cormega.

Luciano has set a high trajectory and he’s headed fearlessly into it with his upcoming EP Fire and Ice and album From the Snow to the Beach, both releases thematically highlighting the juxtaposition between his dual homelands. Lion knows that the industry is about persistence, and he plans to “keep bangin people over the head with records and videos and knocking out these shows until it happens!”
