I wanted to write inspirational songs that were exciting to play for an audience. Songs that I knew would be sing-alongs at our live shows says Ido, lead singer of Lion of Ido.
The new album, set for release this fall, was recorded at the legendary Clubhouse Recording Studios in Rhinebeck, NY with Grammy award winning producer Yaron Fuchs.
The band recently returned from their inaugural tour of Europe in support of Hesta Prynn. Recent shows have paired the band with indie darlings Matt and Kim, The Rocket Summer, Ryan Star, and We Are Scientists. The band just completed a tour of Southeastern colleges, that included dates with Atomic Tom and Yep Roc recording artist, Jukebox The Ghost.
Lion of Ido was recently featured as the "Needle in the Haystack" artist of the week at Ourstage.com and MTVmusic.com.
