Lior Milliger Quartet

The players of the band came across to play together on different situations and settings for about 10 years now.
We used to play Israeli songs, alongside with Jazz standards,
so we are familiar with both worlds.

We decided to reflect our own influences and heritage in music
into compositions and arrangements that will contain a unique musical sound and saying, that combines Israeli folk music and jazz.

We are performing with this material for almost 5 years now,
until something started to form. We wrote some compositions, experimented with it, and created different arrangements until we found the right one for each piece.

We then recorded our first album "Seven Songs" and realeased it (independently) on August 2012.
We still perform with it on different places and unformal events in Israel.

The scents of the music are very familiar in Israel, because of the connection to the roots of Israeli music. To crowds that are not from Israel its sounds a new and a unique music style.
