Bio
Formed in early 2003, Liquid Reality from Detroit, MI, has made a statement from
their very first live performance. After only 3 shows together they took top honors in a
battle of the bands against other established acts in the area. Playing their original style
of pop/rock they have continued to generate upbeat music along with catchy hooks, to
keep you the listener entertained.
After starting out at smaller clubs playing to friends and family, local promoters
began to take notice of Liquid Reality. Soon they began to get larger shows at area venues
opening for national acts such as Bret Michaels of Poison, Magni-Fi, and recently
opening for Sponge. Liquid Reality has also headlined at such venues as The Emerald Theatre,
in Mt. Clemens, and performing at the annual festival Art's, Beat's, and Eat's in Pontiac.
Liquid Reality has completed their first demo CD and enjoyed success on web sites
such as garageband.com. The songs The Best and I'm Alive both reached the top 150 within
one week of reviews worldwide of 1,300 hundred songs in the pop/rock genre. Sticking to
their regular schedule of constant practice and playing in well over 100 live shows has
given them time to perfect their live performance and stage presence.
Recently Liquid Reality has added a DJ to the mix to give the songs a new
perspective. Current plans are to complete a full length album to be released in the summer
of 2005, and to continue to play live as much as possible. Liquid Reality will always stick
to their motto work, work, and more work to continue to improve and develop their unique
and genuine sound they have created.
