BandRock

Like the MTV show of the same name, we play hit rock songs from the 1990s. We bring fun, energy, and professionalism to every show. Our passion for music from this era drives every performance, while 25-40 year-old bar patrons remember the tunes they used to rock out to during days not so far gone.

Biography

The four members of Liquid Television all grew up in the turbulent, undefinable, ever-shifting music scene that encapsulated the 1990s. Sometimes we didn't we know exactly what to call what we were hearing on the radio...grunge, alternative, industrial, indie, hip hop... these all seemed to just be unnecessary classifications for the music we grew up rocking out to.

Our passion for this music lead us together, and our respect for the material has guided us into perfecting dozens and dozens of songs. From Smashing Pumpkins to Ben Folds Five, and from Nine Inch Nails to the Beastie Boys to the Pixies, our energetic live show will get people out of their seats and having flashbacks (no not like the ones they had repeatedly after Phish Fall tour '96...), but flashbacks to the days when they rocked out with their friends to band likes Nirvana, Weezer, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Silverchair, and so on and so forth.

We are all dedicated and professional musicians with the ability to melt faces on a daily basis. We love our band and our music. Our ever-evolving repertoire garners more and more attention each time we play out and our increasing fan base has proved to us that the 90's, being the bastard child decade that it was, will be popular until the day comes that no one has heard Nirvana's unplugged cover of 'man who sold the world' (which by then we'll hopefully be dead as well).
