Lisa Ashleigh

I was forced into chorus in first grade. Everyone hated it but i secretly loved it. I was that little kid who would sing at their parents get-togethers while all the adults uttered, "Aww's" every few notes. I picked up an old Yamaha guitar from under my parent's bed and attempted to play it. I banged on the strings and even held the guitar backwards, but I loved it. I learned how to actually play and I started to write my own lyrics and write my own songs. Now my lyrics, melodies and sounds have matured and developed into something I share with everyone. I have been working on these songs my whole life in my head, and I have finally gotten a lot out. There is still a sound in my head and I continue at attemption to get it out. My songs are full of maturity, some heart break, some hard life styles I have over come, but mainly, my songs are full of beauty and truth. Everyone can find something relateable amongst my words and music, and that is my mission. I create music that is beautiful and real. Everyone can listen to my life.
