Lisa Imondi

Lisa has been performing since she was a small child and writing songs for more than 20 years. With her rich, alto voice, described as “smoky blues” and “soulful”, she captures audiences where ever she performs. Time after time, Lisa touches her audience with her innate ability to draw out the raw emotions in a song. One fan noted – “you only have to hear her voice once.” In fact, after performing a soulful ballad at a club gig, a middle-aged man came to the stage to tell Lisa that her interpretation of the song had moved him to tears.

Lisa’s approach to a song combines soul, gospel, jazz and blues to create her own unique sound – whether she is singing a classic or an original. For Lisa, it’s simply who she is and how she naturally interprets a song. Her performance influences include Etta James, Nina Simone, Mahalia Jackson and Ray Charles.

Lisa takes her songwriting inspiration from life, her experiences, and the experiences of the people around her. She combines gripping melodies and enduring messages to create songs that simply stand on their own.

After several years in the corporate world, Lisa has returned to her musical roots to pursue her life passions of performing and song writing. Born on the East Coast, Lisa grew up in central Ohio and currently calls Columbus, Ohio home.
