Lisa Jones is an American singer-songwriter from Orange County, California. She made her first major television debut this year with a writing credit and a musical performance. Her debut album, Wildfire, made headlines with her award-winning song, Smilin’, which garnered a finalist position in the International Songwriting Competition. Lisa has also received recognition in the International Acoustic Music Awards, and was also on WOS radio for a Women of Substance feature. She is currently featured in an interview with Vents Magazine and she also opened for triple platinum singer-songwriter Anna Nalick in Hollywood.
Drawing from three generations of musical talent of various genres—her own style and authenticity speaks for itself. With her powerhouse vocals, dynamic guitar skills, impressive stage presence, and writing and producing prowess, her talent is more than worthy of its recent industry recognition and radio play.
Lisa’s influences include the Beatles, Queen, Credence, Etta James, Led Zepplin, Ray Charles, the Judds and Elton John.
