One of the most fearless and innovative comedians in the business, Lisa Landry is a definite audience favorite. Her honest and hysterical observations about trying to find excitement growing up in a small Southern town, her hatred of fake people and authority- and her love of beer and Doritos- have established her as a regular on the college circuit and on Comedy Central.
She recently starred in her own half hour special- Comedy Central Presents Lisa Landry. Maybe youve seen her in the frequent re-runs of her appearance on Premium Blend with Jamie Kennedy. Shes also done commentary for the E! Channel and Fox's Mike and Juliet in the Morning Show and recently shot a stand-up DVD with comedy legend Brett Butler. If you watch Law and Order: SVU youve seen her there, too, co-starring with Fred Savage. She's a frequent guest on Sirius Satellite Radio's entertainment shows and her comedy routines are often played on their Raw Dog and Blue Collar Channels. You may have even read her jokes in Us Weekly Magazines very popular Fashion Police- which is ironic since all Landry ever wears is jeans and black shirts- in case she spills her beer.
Being a regular performer at all the New York City comedy clubs, Lisa has worked with Robin Williams, Chris Rock, Robert Kelly, Gary Gulman and Colin Quinn. Her top-notch crowd work coupled with her relatable material has earned her accolades as a break-out talent. One of the industrys fastest rising young stars- club owners, bookers and crowds throughout the country are all in agreement- Lisa Landry will soon be a household name in the world of stand up comedy.
