"URB MAGAZINE - MARCH 12, 2010"

Nervous Records lolita, Lisa Pure was already in the booth when I arrived. She was stoked about quite a few releases being dropped for WMC 2010.

It is set to be a big year for her so keep your ears tuned. If you are headed Miami way she is doing a vocal PA almost every night of the week, no reason to miss out - URB.COM - JARED POWERS

"365 MAGAZINE - CAN'T SAY NO - LISA PURE - REVIEW"

If you are looking for some serious house music, you just found it! Can't Say No' by Lisa Pure and Oscar G. on Nervous Records surely does not disappoint. It is a fully loaded single release with a total of nine high quality remixes that will move any dance floor and satisfy any taste.

The catchy vocals of Lisa Pure will stay in your mind long after the track has finished playing. Tommyboy Vocal Remix delivers drama and diversity of sound, it truly is a dance floor winner. Keith John's Seduction Remix, is the darkest sound from the entire package,

The Agebeat Remix presents more of an electro feel but then transforms into a totally unique house sound that could only be fully grasped if actually heard.

"DJ TIMES MAGAZINE - ISTMO EL SALVADOR SHOW REVIEW"

American Vocalist Lisa Pure then gave the show an infusion of female energy. Before she even hit the stage, she got plenty of adulation from fans in the front, taking pictures, signing autographs.

But when she sang the opening lyrics to "Lost", the 2007 global hit she fronted for Roger Sanchez, the place went batty--turns out, it was No. 1 in El Salvador.

The audience was thrilled to have a star in its midst and she delivered with a sassy performance and more than a little New York swagger. Crowd singing, hands in the air, a perfect time for a PA.

Q AND A WITH JIM:

YOUR REACTION TO THE FESTIVAL: I had an amazing time. The vibe was incredible. The fans were so enthusiastic and really got into everyone's set. They stood out in my mind as one of the best crowds I've ever sung to across the globe.

WHICH DJs MOST IMPRESSED YOU: I have to give props to Randy Boyer. He truly worked the crowd and they loved him.

THE HIGHLIGHT FOR YOU: When I arrived at the festival there was a crowd of people that were screaming out to me. I went over to say hello and take pictures with them and to thank them for supporting me.

One girl said to me, "Lisa, you have no idea how important you are to us here." That will forever be in my memory. I'm truly thankful for all the success I have received worldwide, but when fans reach out to you and say things like that, well, that makes me keep pushing forward and never give up. - JIM TREMAYNE - DJ TIMES MAG

“I’m Over You,” produced by Giuseppe D. was released on Xtreme Records in 2001. “Walkin’,” with Danny ‘Buddah’ Morales was released in 2004 on Stealth Records followed by the international hit “The Love You Bring Me” with Carl Kennedy and Roger Sanchez. This little lady has a hell of a lot of pep to her step, with 2004’s ‘Best New Artist (Solo)’ nomination at the International Dance Music Awards in Miami, FL in 2005. Immediately following, she embarked on the worldwide ‘Heineken Thirst Tour’, performing with Roger Sanchez, Recording Artist GTO, Guitarist/Rapper/Producer Freak, Erick Morillo, Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Lawler and many others. Her talent was highly recognized and very promising as she hit the big leagues with an undying vengeance and an overwhelming sense of passion for her music. Others soon came to recognize this as her signature. The Lisa Pure sound became contagious.

“Lost,” a Roger Sanchez mega-hit, was then born, topping international charts and rocking the Billboard 1 Dance Club Play single chart. “Lost” is still in regular rotation in many countries throughout the world and the music video is currently being broadcasted in the UK, Europe, and Asia on MTV.
