Bio

A skier who sings. A singer who skis. A Northern Michigan native who is as heavily influenced by Lake Michigan and the Rocky Mountains as by love, life and relationships. A lover of people and their stories and life in general, Lisa is currently on the road putting on a nationwide ski town concert tour that is raising money for injured veterans and the programs that teach them to ski and snowboard to build their confidence. She is working with the Disabled Sports USA charity. With a background in ski racing and freestyle, and years of teaching skiing in Vail, Colorado, Lisa decided to use her music and ski industry connections to make this tour happen. Loading her car with skis, CDs and too many clothes, Lisa is on an adventure to spread the word about these programs while opening the door to new music to people across the country. Her zest for life and thoughtful songwriting has allowed her to play with some of her songwriting heros such as Chris Isaak, Matt Scannell (Vertical Horizon), Colin Hay and many of Nashville's great hit writers. She has been fortunate enough to have her songs heard on Network television shows, such as "Life", "Felicity", "Everwood", and made for TV movies such as "Hello Sister, Goodbye Life" on ABC. Drawing people in with her sincerity and honest lyrics, Lisa makes new fans wherever she goes.
