When LISBETH LYNN was a little girl she would roll up the newspaper, tie a piece of string on it and use it as her microphone to perform for all of her toys on top of her bouncy stage. By age 6 she was immersed in the excitement of revealing the new songs she would write to all of her schoolyard friends and realized that the joy of creativity and the exuberant power of entertaining was her path for this lifetime. Born in a small farming village off the Northwest coast of Peru, LISBETH LYNN had no idea her life would unfold in such a way to support her Big Dreams.
When she first arrived to the US, she was determined to conquer the English language and finally learn the correct lyrics to all the American songs she would sing along to as a kid. Inspired by artists such as Madonna, Cher and Michael Jackson, her vision was to fuse the mystical music of her native land with the contemporary pop sounds of her new home. While on this quest she was introduced to and began taking guitar lessons with UM Graduate Edwin Itoh who is also a member of the conscious-pop band Here II Here. This would result in a meeting of the stars and Edwin would later become her husband and co-producer of their first musical child entitled “It’s My Time”.
On “It’s My Time”, it’s as if the worlds of Dance Pop, Electro Pop, Rock and Fashion (she creates her own outfits) collided in the inner Universe of an Incan Princess ready to share her voice with the world.
