Bio
Originally from Miami, Cuban-American Lissa Lo is a self-taught producer/singer/songwriter based in NYC. Her influences include Lorde, the Weeknd, Marian Hill, Lana Del Rey, and the Chainsmokers. Lo left behind her family in 2015 in order to pursue her music career in the Big Apple and spent two years focused on learning singing, writing and production. She wrote and produced most of her debut EP, Brilliant, in her Brooklyn apartment, but with a full-time job and a commute, much of it was also done on train rides and flights back home.
Lo has been featured on multiple music blogs such as Indietronica, Electronic North, Wolf in A Suit, The Dutch Guy, Gems and Secrets and more. Her 2017 collaboration with Robby Burke, Take Over, has amassed over 100,000+ plays on Spotify alone. In April of 2018, Lo teamed up with Robby Burke again to find more commercial success upon releasing a remix of her song All I Need with No Copyright United. The remix currently has over 55,000+ streams.
Lo is currently working on her latest project, which will include new influences, combining the Miami culture she grew up in with New York City's flavor of jazz.
