Biography

We're a rock/reggae/experimental trio from Islip Long Island, New York. Music seems to be a connection that ties us together as artists and helped us win multiple Battle of The Bands competitions, issued in several magazines, and received a time slot for Bamboozle 2012. We originated in 2007 from Islip High School and have connected instantly once we practiced. Formally known as Dead End, Listen Close underwent a name change to help with their growing sound. Originally we were more on the reggae side of the spectrum, but our newer songs bring a more alternative rock sound to make a nice mixture. We're all about having a good time and simply playing music.

Lyrics

Come Inside

Written By: Listen Close

Lying in my bed I find myself tangled up in these days.
I feel like I’m wasting my time trying to make a change.
There’s a thousand things left to say but it won’t make a difference,
all I’ve got left is my shredded recollection, I’m forgetting my own name.

So why don’t you come inside a while and warm me up by your fire. Help me find an escape, I just to get away,
I’ve been thinking everyday for you to say

Come inside tonight, yeah, I wanna find out now

Come inside tonight, yeah, what you’re all about now

I think I have some money so lets hang and have a party,
I think we deserve the night out as we dance out in the streets
I finally feel free as you make your way to me,
oh you whisper so quietly, you whisper to me so quietly

Come inside tonight, yeah, I wanna find out now

Come inside tonight, yeah, what you’re all about now
