Biography

Arielle is a singer-songwriter currently based in Dallas, TX. Her very unique voice and songwriting style give a fresh face to pop music, marrying genres from all across the musical spectrum, from pop to soul to jazz to hip hop to classical and back, to create an experience that simply cannot be replicated by any other artist. With a background in musical composition and a devotion to the musical, emotional connection between the artist and the listener, Arielle uses her carefully crafted melodies and strong, pretense-less lyrics to explore the human psyche and simultaneously comfort and confront her audience.

In April 2010, Arielle was named the Grand Prize Winner of singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson’s video contest. She was chosen as the winner--after several rounds of public voting--by Ingrid herself for her “great technique and beautiful voice”, and will soon be performing live with her in concert.

In September 2010 Arielle finished and released her first EP, “The Music Box”. She is currently focused on performing regularly and spreading her music throughout the Dallas area.

In April of 2012 Arielle was invited to join the legendary Rod Stewart on stage at his live show at the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. All of this was a part of the E! network reality television show, "Opening Act".

Monster (The Malevolent)

Written By: Arielle

Give it to me straight, will you love me, will you leave me alone?
Give it to me straight, are we makin' a hotel or a home?
Here's a fact: you don't know me, Here's a truth: you never will.
You just want the meal, honey, you don't wanna foot the bill,
But that's okay 'cause

My heart's a muscle and I, I give it exercise.
I make it stronger so that I can take it when it breaks, and
The world is always spinning, the river always runs,
You think I'm crazy but I think I'm entitled to some fun.

But why would you be kind if it seems proper to be a monster?
And why would you be polite? You're an impostor, you're just a monster.

Give it to me straight, will you love me, will you leave me alone?
Give it to me straight, am I fire when ice is all you've ever known?
Here's a fact: you can't break me, Here's a truth: you're gonna try.
Well you can charm me and disarm me, I won't even ask you why, because

My heart's a muscle and I, I give it exercise.
I make it stronger so that I can take it when it breaks, and
The world is always spinning, the river always runs,
I think you're crazy but I guess you're entitled to it

But why would you be kind if it seems proper to be a monster?
And why would you be polite? You're an impostor, you're just a monster.

This is not a relationship, it's a struggle for control.
Why be kind when you're left behind with this empty hole?

My heart's a muscle and I, I give it exercise.
I make it stronger so that I can take it when it breaks, and
The world is always spinning, that river always runs,
You think I'm crazy but I think I'm entitled to decide
If I should be kind, or if I think it's proper, I'll be a monster.
No I will not be polite, if you're an impostor, I'll be a monster.
I'll be your monster.

Lust (The Lascivious)

Written By: Arielle

Oh, oh, oh, what is this feeling?
I, I, I, I don't know what to do.
Ev-ev-every time you come near me
I stu-stu-stutter and I cannot find my cool.

And oh, oh, oh, what is this daydream?
All day I sleepwalk in your wake.
Now, now, now I am getting the feeling
That you could be my biggest mistake, 'cause I

I think I'm in love, think I'm in love, think I'm in love,
But really I just want you so bad.

Now, now, now, honey, you tease me.
One more second and I'll snap.
You've got to give me just what you're promising
So I can give it all right back, 'cause I

I think I'm in love, think I'm in love, think I'm in love,
But really I just want you so bad.

How come you can tease me, baby, but I cannot tease you back?
What is love, what is lust, baby?
What's the difference if I trust you? Why can't I just trust me?

But I, I think I'm in love, think I'm in love, think I'm in love.
But maybe I want you, baby I just want you so bad.

Oh, oh, oh, what is this feeling?
