"Artist Spotlight: Little Boxer"

Little Boxer looks like an average indie band: three guys in their early 20s wearing vests and button downs that play at small hipster venues. You expect to hear them singing about heart break with a bland vibe and gentle vocals, but as they start to play the audience is caught by surprise. Little Boxer isn’t just another new indie band on the Toronto scene. They’re different. - CanCulture

"5 Bands You Need To Know About"

Little Boxer combines elements of rock, indie, and various other musical genres with thoughtful song writing. Despite forming less than a year ago, Little Boxer has certainly made a name for themselves in the Toronto music scene. Their onstage energy is infectious and their sound is unique and uplifting. This is one band you NEED to see live. - RU Student Life

"Five Things You Didn't Know About Little Boxer"

If you like Toronto’s music scene, chances are you’ve seen, or heard of Little Boxer. What makes the band so intriguing is the husky voice of lead, Zachary Erickson that elevates their alternative rock into a unique territory separating them from other bands. With the mixture of the surprising talent of Juan Udarbe, who makes you appreciate what great bass is, and drummer Dave Silani who rocks the stage from the back with a smirk, Little Boxer has put themselves on the map as the ones to watch. The young performers own the stage like pros and make each show different than the last. - Jesus's Sister

"Band Watch"

I don’t know how many cigarettes you have to smoke to sound like Little Boxer’s vocalist, but I’ll go through two packs a day for four months if that’s what it takes. - The Eyeopener

Bio

Formed in April of 2014, Little Boxer started as a acoustic folk/rock duo consisting of Dave Silani and Zachary Erickson before adding fellow Toronto musician Juan Udarbe in August of 2014. In November of 2015 Little Boxer continued its sonic expansion with the inclusion of Liam Driscoll on lead guitar. Merging elements of rock, funk, and folk with thoughtful song writing, Little Boxer has worked hard to establish a sound that is unique and distinct. This combined with the band's energetic and unforgettable live performances has established Little Boxer as one of Toronto's most exciting new bands
