Little Alien

We are Little Alien and we don't know how to describe ourselves. For lack of a better word, the best possible option might be "indie", however, that is hardly a genre and we don't like to necessarily think in those types of limiting terms. Our music takes influences from various genres such as 90's shoegaze music, 80's alternative music such as that of Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., and The Cure, heavy influence from Radiohead, and of course we are always being influenced and absorbing the current musical stylings of many "indie" or alternative groups such as Arcade Fire and Broken Social Scene. Of course stating the various musicians we've stolen ideas from hardly states a valid case for why we are worth listening to. Influences aside we confidently believe that we play something original and unique to us. We understand that a large part of understanding ourselves as a band hinges on our ability to develop and understand our own musical sound and style. This is something we believe we are constantly getting better at and understanding. In summation, what we feel sets us apart is that this is real for us and we take it very seriously and we are completely confident in the fact that we play original music with integrity and intelligence and we know we are creating something worth listening to.
