Little Black Dress are a uniquely lush harmony wonder.
They are South Australian and hard-working. These five passionate musicians with an eclectic range of songs work the stage with passion and pour energy into their arrangements.
Little Black Dress re-work pop, funk, rock and punk material from their hearts and their souls to set the stage alight
Founding members Mel (vocals, woodwind), Kay (vocals) and Annie (vocals, guitar) were drawn to South Australias Barossa Valley in1999 through a love of music and accapella singing. Soon afterwards, Chris (drums) and Tony (vocals, bass) joined them and all five band members have found themselves at their most prolific musically since being based in the show-piece wine region.
Little Black Dress are a stand alone vocal band who reach even greater heights as an acoustic rock band. They can send a crowd whirling onto the dance floor or move a few to tears.
Little Black Dress are proud to have supported Renee Geyer, Glenn Shorrock, Brian Cadd, Frenzal Rhomb, The Borderers, Troy Cassar-Daly, Flat On Your Bacharach and E Type Jazz. This band has appeared at 6 Fringe Festivals in Adelaide and Melbourne. Their big heart extends to an ongoing commitment to supporting many charities, local schools and Dignity For The Disabled through benefit gigs.
