"Alzheimer's Music Fest"

Little Boxes: A female duo, each singing and playing a hollow bodied guitar. One on electric hollow body and the other on acoustic. Their harmonies were incredible, and the acoustic guitar player (Cady Staggs) had SOARING vocals that were so powerful at times she had to back three feet away from the mic to come through at the proper volume--and I am telling 100% truth. Other times she only had to back away two and a half or even two feet from the mic. The electric hollow body guitar player (Haseena Peera) had vocals that could wind up, down and all around with distinctive tones that were weaving through their songs. What a pleasant surprise they were. I never expected to have two young girls stand out so much during such a talent-packed all day show. Even with the guitar string debacle of the year midway through their short set (they had to borrow another artist's acoustic guitar to finish their set), they held their composure and kept a light hearted and comical disposition that had the audience in the palms of their hands. Great personalities, good look (killer hair do's), good songs and fantastic vocals made them one of the stand-out acts in my book. - Dirty South TV

Bio

We are Little Boxes. We are two girls with guitars that hail from Atlanta. We have been labeled Folk-Punk by some but our style is ever-changing and growing into it’s own. Some of our biggest influences include Paramore, Fleetwood Mac, Tegan and Sara and Michael Jackson. Don’t let our name fool you, we by no means fit into a little box.
Haseena and I have been friends for many years and have been making music even longer, but we did not start making magic together until about two years ago. She came from an R&B and disco background while I was raised on classic rock and hair metal, so as you can imagine it’s a very interesting mix. I bring in the power house vocals and Haseena comes in with her soulful, sometimes raspy voice and we blend in an array of harmonics that have brought people to tears.
Currently we are trying to venture out from Atlanta but we play shows around the ATL weekly anywhere from coffee shops and open mics, to the Drunken Unicorn and the Masquerade. We’re just a couple of goof balls that make wonderful music that we would like to share with the world.
