Little Love and The Friendly Vibes

Little Love and the Friendly Vibes are a 3 piece indie pop band from Edinburgh. They play music thats fun, edgy and makes you want to dance the night away. The band formed in May 2011 when Singer Songwriter Euan Weddell met Graham Bodenham an experienced drummer and sound engineer. After jamming together, they decided to form an acoustic trio with Singer songwriter Coral Brierley. The trio was called 'Little Love'. After recording a 3 track demo called 'Love, Joy and Happiness'. Little Love played gigs around Edinburgh, Supporting popular bands such as 'Most Thieves' and The Night Noise Team'.

Following the departure of Coral from the band, Lisa Mcglynn, a close friend of Euan joined the band to play bass and sing backing vocals. It was at this point the band morphed from an acoustic trio into a fully charged 3 piece indie pop band. Following this change of line up and overall sound 'Little Love' became 'Little Love and the Friendly Vibes'.

Working towards recording a 5 track EP, Little love and the friendly Vibes are all set to spread their catchy brand of fun guitar based pop to the Uk and beyond.

'Little Love and the Friendly Vibes' have been influenced by many great bands and artist's that include: The Rezillos, The Undertones, The Vaselines, Teenage Fanclub, The Pastels, The June Brides, Joy Division, The Cure, The B52s and Tullycraft, The Troggs and The Kinks. Our music is also influeced by contemporary indie/alternative bands that include Art Brut, Louie, The Lovely Eggs and The Rakes.
