April Combs and Michael Mann fronted the critically acclaimed late 80's - early 90's Bloomington, Indiana-based band Arson Garden. Arson Garden toured throughout the US and Europe, released 3 full-length CDs with EPs and singles, performed a Peel Session for the legendary John Peel on BBC’s Radio One, and appeared on MTV's 120 minutes. The group recorded at Prince's Paisley Park, Pachyderm Studios (Nirvana), and John Mellencamp's Belmont Mall. Arson Garden played shows with everyone from the Afghan Whigs and the Replacements to Marianne Faithful and Shawn Colvin. The Chicago Reader called them "...the only art rock band in America that matters".
Now reformed as Little Nova, Combs and Mann return to the stage and studio. Combining everything from French Chanson to melodically dissonant guitar they create a lovely/dirty new sound all their own.
