The band was fabulous! We've had such positive feedback from those who attended the show-...."loved the limbo & conga line", "...got the whole family in a summer party mood!" and"...bring 'em back next year, those guys were fun!"
As you know, the Concert For Literacy is our only major fundraiser, and this year we met and exceeded our goal for ticket sales and attendance. The reason...We were lucky to have a lively, summer kick-off event with LIVE BAIT as the main attraction. The guys got the crowd moving & grinning...and that's the kind of show that brings success!
We are definitely thinking about bringing LIVE BAIT back again for the 2009 concert...if they're interested. The show was such a hit, the only "parrot head' event on he Fraze Pavilion schedule, and with all the encourging feedback, we feel it's definitely worth investigatig.
It has been a pleasure, and so easy, working with you!

To many, the fashion trend passed years ago, but on Friday, the Hawaiian shirt made a comeback as schools of landsharks invaded Downer Place.
They sat in beach chairs, with straw hats atop their heads, and wildly threw their fins to the left and right at the command of LIVE BAIT frontman, Al Spohn.
"We got ourselves a feedin' frenzy now", he shouted to the enthusiastic crowd.
The Jimmy Buffett tribute hailing from Tampa Bay, Florida, brought thousands of Parrot Heads to their feet, sipping margaritas out of giant pineapples at Aurora's Downtown Alive event.
Beachballs bounced through the crowd that packed the street.
"We just like the atmosphere", Strief said of the event. "It's a fun time. It's safe, and easy and free."
Like hundreds of others, Aurora residents Frank and Carol Brummel donned their favorite Margaritaville attire. For these Buffett fans, brightly colored concert shirts were the evening's pick.
"I took the day off work for this", Frank said. "And we dressed for the occasion!"

Though I was not there for the 4th of July celebration, 500+ of our golf club members were in attendance and danced until the very end! The feedback I received was great and it sounds like everyone really loved LIVE BAIT. Al was great to work with - very flexible with ground transportation, etc.. Thanks for recommending them - they were a hit! Looking forward to future events with you!
Take care,
