Psyclone

Welcome to the world of Psyclone, born Ian J. Cohen in Briarwood, New York and currently resides in Bayside, New York. Ian Cohen created the name Psyclone by combining the names of two significant pieces from his childhood. Known as the type not to care much and go against the norm he was often referred to as Psycho. His father always lived in Coney Island, Brooklyn and would always vision the world famous Cyclone roller coaster each time he went to his second home. Hence the name Psyclone which also characterizes his sharp intensity and quick witty approach lyrically. After working a while to save up the right amount of money for everything to sound properly, Psyclone has been hard at work doing projects left and right. Psyclone has received much praise since doing songs like "Hard Candy" and "Punisher", which proved himself lyrically and coming up as the new face in an originally gifted underground market. He was later quoted as saying, "You know everyone's always trying to change themselves, you have to stay true to yourself. If people are buying my music because I lowered my standards then I haven't accomplished anything." The name Psyclone is sure to be floating around the hip hop environment in the near future. On any given weekend in New York City you can catch Psyclone performing live at numerous bars and clubs.
