"New Band in the House:Living Anthem"

You know how much I appreciate GOOD music and when I heard 'Mystery' by Living Anthem, I was listening to quality music. Comprising of Matt Seagle (Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar), Luke Budde (Vocals Keys), Tim Englett (Drums), Cory Estes (Lead Guitar) and Toby Holloman-Bass, this band are ready to make a mark for themselves.

From purevolume.com:
Living Anthem, a worshipful rock band desiring for their lives to be a living anthem - transparent and truthful - for everyone to see. This five piece based out of Georgia involves worshipful music driven by music that is straightforward and rock based. With soul-searching melodies similar to U2 or LifeHouse along with honest worship likened to David Crowder Band the band is not to be forgotten. Living Anthem has been a national touring band for 3 years and has shared the stage with Krystal Meyers, Warren Barfield, and others. Whether it be playing festivals across the country or leading worship for student conferences Living Anthem keeps a simple philosophy..........says lead singer Matt.

I think he has said it all. The new self titled album is out and available on iTunes, Amazon and eMusic. Check them out because they rock. If you love David Crowder or Coldplay... Living Anthem should be on your playlist

Check them out here

"The 7 Venue"

...Next I went across the hall to the Christian stage. Christian rockers Living Anthem were on stage, and they weren't kids. They're a serious, practiced group of musicians from Bremen. They had a sound that was all their own.

And Living Anthem can sing. Lead singer Matt and the keyboard player Lucas harmonize like, well, angels, as befits a Christian band. Their overall sound reminds me of the best of Matchbox 20 and the Goo Goo Dolls – lush pop music that happens to have a religious message. Living Anthem brought out a lot of fans, and at one point they had almost everyone holding up their arms to praise God. They were a talented bunch of musicians. Atheists might even like their music... - www.gophertunes.com

Bio

The word Anthem means "a song or hymn of praise". It is Living Anthem's desire that they worship God with their lifestyles as well as with their music. Hoping to live up to their name, Living Anthem places a great deal of importance on their personal walk with Jesus Christ. "People are tired of actors, that is why reality TV is so popular. We are not just acting when we call ourselves a Christian band, we are Christian men longing to do our part in shaking the world for Jesus Christ," says lead vocalist Matt Seagle.

Living Anthem consists of Matt Seagle, Lucas Budde, Cory Estes, Toby Holloman and Matt Rawlins. Since forming in October 2003, Living Anthem has released two independent albums and performed at some of Christian music's largest festivals including Ichthus and Atlanta Fest. Their touring schedule reaches as far north as New York, as far south as Orlando, and to the heart of the midwest as well as staying busy in the southeast. Living Anthem has shared the stage with many of Christian music’s top artists and has recently signed with 2:20 Entertainment Group which also manages Group 1 Crew and Chris And Conrad. Living Anthem is set to release their first radio single "How Beautiful The Cross" in January 2010. They will follow the single with a new six song EP produced by David Garcia.

"Living anthem is refreshingly good, and have a heart for worship," says Family Force Five lead vocalist, Soul Glow Activator. Living Anthem has performed for crowds ranging from eight to eight thousand, but their service remains to an audience of one. They have a heart for people, no matter what denomination, race, or background. Their desire is to see the body of Christ unified. Living Anthem is:

Matt Seagle-Lead Vocals, Rhythm, and Acoustic Guitar
Lucas Budde- Vocals, Keys
Matt Rawlins-Drums
