She first discovered her love for music at age 8 when she wrote her first song entitled “Another Chance”. Little did she know that this was only the beginning of a long love affair with music that opened for her new opportunities and experiences.

So it was with love in her heart that she set out on this great musical journey. She began learning to sing and write, meeting many interesting people along the way.

Sharing her love of music with others provided her with valuable lessons like learning the true power of great lyrics and rhythms. One of her most exceptional experiences was when she was given the honor of singing with Latin artist Eddie Santiago, an event that highlighted her Latin roots which are unmistakably the foundation of her profound love for music. Lately, her Latin and Pop influences had been enriched by sharing scenarios with other Latin stars such as 2008 Latin Grammy winners Los Gaitanes.

It was precisely her musical journey and experiences that provided the inspiration for many of her songs. These experiences taught her to value things like life, love, friends, and family, inspiring her to write songs like “Lies” and “New Day”.

Artists are constantly searching for their muse, something to inspire them, and Liza definitely found her muse. Her distinctive and powerful voice coupled with intimate lyrics offer a distinctive type of music. Through her lyrics and rhythms Liza
is able to present her audience with a plethora of emotions. It is the passion and love with which she sings that truly conveys her personality and the message of her songs.
