Liz Lawrence is a prodigously talented Eighteen year old singer/songwriter.Born in Moseley,Birmingham (but raised in Stratford On Avon).Liz's fledgling musical career started as the guitarist/vocalist musically in a ska-punk band at the age of thirteen, before deciding to strike out as a solo artist two years later."I think it was just the idea that I was in charge of what I was doing and just really wanted to takethings in anothers direction" she says that was the basis of her decision.A strikinginly captivating live performer there a echoes of everything from Patti Smith and Cat Power to Etta James and even Sade in here vocal style with her folk tinged songs abou love loss and trying to find your space in the world.Currently studying for an honours degree at an arts based college in Devon Liz juggles gigging with her coursework playing live as much as she can.
