I'm an ER doc. I work in the busiest trauma center in Boston. I began my music career in high school singing on the streets of Harvard Square. After college I moved to Cambridge where I continued my illustrious street singing career and moved inside to local coffeehouses. I made the decision to return to school and study medicine somewhere along the way, and have been riding that see-saw between music and medicine for about 20 years. In 2008 I recorded my first CD "not the whether of summer." It was recorded almost entirely live at Tom Eaton Studios in Newburyport and ranges from celtic sounds to jazz. It is a wide-ranging CD in part because it contains a collection many years of songs. This year (2012) I will be putting out a new CD "pretty house." It is a beautiful collection of lyrically complex, melodic, songs about life, love, and more. With a sound that ranges from spare to moments of lushness. It has been compared to the sound of Laura Nyro's New York Tendaberry.
