Bio

Liz Nash, a singer/songwriter continues with her vision of music of one fan at a time. Her music has been featured in HBO and has received honorable mentions in “Billboard”. Her regular line up includes herself on vocals and guitar, Oskar Cartaya from Cartaya’s Enclave on bass (Spyrogyra, Sheila E., Robbie Robertson) Fausto Cuevas on percussion (Queen Latifah, Tito Puente Jr., American Idol) and Andy Sanesi on Drums. Other session musicians are know to sit in as well.********************************************************************** As a child, Liz thought the folk guitar player at the local library was the coolest. She would become mesmerized by the stories she sang. There was truth in it, she thought. Soon after, Liz started attending USDAN center of performing arts in New York (a branch of Lincoln Center), and studied music. She would go home and play songs for her older brother Jorge and they’d study the back of Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel albums. After extensive jazz study, Liz started playing duets in clubs and cabarets on Long Island and Manhattan. She would perform regularly at “Surf Reality” in the Lower East Side know for their eccentric performance art which eventually lead her to her first recognition. Since then, she has played in many venues in California, South America, and Europe. *************************************************************************** “I would like to continue to collaborate with other artists that I admire as well as continue working with the TV and film community.”

In her most recent project, “Liz Nash and the Cockpit” she performs her original music and adds elements of improv. based on fictional retro 60’s flight attendant that is draws her loyal fan base (which she affectionally refers as her frequent flyers).
It's fun and entertaining!
