Silent Desperation

Written By: Liz Solomon

I’m fighting to break
This shell I’m trapped inside
When did these walls go up?
To keep me hostage in my mind
Recession of my emotion
Well it shakes me to the core
I’m still going through the motions
In my life

Silent desperation
Oh you’re screaming in your mind
Silent Desperation
You’re withering inside
How can you stop
The Slow erosion of your pride
Love shouldn’t hurt
Your pride

Another woman drowns
On this quiet sea of contentment
Her smile shines so brightly
As she turns her face to cry
Unaware her sacrifice would be
Giving up on who she was
For who she’s told to be

Silent desperation
Oh you’re screaming in your mind
Silent Desperation
You’re withering inside
How can you stop
The slow erosion of your pride
Love shouldn’t hurt
Your pride

Everything

Written By: Liz Solomon

College sweethearts
You swept me off my feet
With your clean cut looks and dangerous smile
Living proof of every wish I’d ever made
When you said you loved me
My heart just sighed

You were everything
I never wanted in a man and more
You were everything
I never wanted in a man and more
Dangerous men are only fun for a while

You said you loved me
It didn’t mean you cared
Crying tears part of your game
Calling all the time to see if I’m home
Then being pissed off
When I’m not there

You were everything
I never wanted in a man and more
You were everything
I never wanted in a man and more
Dangerous men are only fun for a while

Red flag wavin’
I know something ain’t right
I’ve been so isolated from my friends
Little things you say
To make this all my fault
You’re twistin’ words and tellin lies

You were everything
I never wanted in a man and more
You were everything
I never wanted in a man and more
Dangerous men are only fun for a while

Beaten by words
Rather than your fist
Doesn’t mean it ain’t abuse…

You were everything
I never wanted in a man and more
You were everything
I never wanted in a man and more
Dangerous men are only fun for a while

Jezebel

Written By: Liz Solomon

Mistakes I wanted to make
But I did not get the chance
I miss that feeling
Oh the swirling in my head
The chase has just begun
I can see it in your eyes
Raging on beneath the surface
You’re torturing my mind

I’m a jezebel at heart
But I’ve been domesticated
I’m a jezebel at heart
Not the wife you choose to see
Tell me you can see
The longing in my eyes
You know that I’ll only ever be
A jezebel at heart

Habits that I can’t change
Of the games I used to play
Single days are over but
Desire in me remains
Maybe I’m an angel
Or a sinner in disguise
Why don’t you choose to see?
The lust hidden in my smile

I’m a jezebel at heart
But I’ve been domesticated
I’m a jezebel at heart
Not the wife you choose to see
Tell me you can see
The longing in my eyes
You know that I’ll only ever be
A jezebel at heart

Wicked thoughts of you
Creep into my mind
I belong to someone else
But still my heart goes wild
All I know is that
I am so confused
My body wants one thing,
But my heart knows which to choose….

Repeat Chorus….

Spoken Silent Words

Written By: Liz Solomon

Pain as deep as your tongue is sharp
Wicked thoughts forbidden from my heart
Prisoner in my mind struggles to be free
From this vicious ache that’s haunting me
Internal battles fought on shaky ground
My thoughts a tangled, dirty, mess,
So confused, I know that I must hide
From the broken woman I’ve become

Those spoken silent words
That numbs my senses
Your spoken silent words
Play over again in my mind

Eyes that pierce with the daggers you throw
A fleeting vision blurs my sight
Deception lingers on your lips
You know you don’t have to hide

From, those spoken silent words
That numbs my senses
Your spoken silent words
Play over again in my mind

Inst. Break

Oh, those spoken silent words
Numbs my senses
Those spoken silent words
Play over again in my mind

Broken sprit, tortured soul
Ice that seeps into my veins
Vicious lies that still remain
From the words that never passed your lips

Those spoken silent words
Numbs my senses
Those spoken silent words
Play over again in my mind

Those spoken silent words
Numbs my senses
Those spoken silent words
Play over again in my mind

over again in my mind
over again in my mind
over again in my mind
over again in my mind

Those spoken silent words
Those spoken silent words

Imaginary Girl

Written By: Liz Solomon

Imaginary girl in this great big world
Doesn’t know who she is anymore
Imaginary girl in this great big world
Doesn’t know

Beautiful girl who lives in a superficial world
She can’t recognize herself
Reflection in the mirror
Of a face she knew so well
Has disappeared, Who she is now

Imaginary girl in this great big world
Doesn’t know who she is anymore

Men they come and go
Like the personality she choose
The girl with the smile the girl with the face
Feels so out of place, feels so out of place

Imaginary girl in this great big world
Doesn’t know who she is anymore
imaginary girl in this great big world
Doesn’t know

The world in her mind defines her days
Her eyes glimmer
When her heart is hidden from the world she seeks She plays her games

Imaginary girl in this great big world
Doesn’t know who she is anymore
imaginary girl in this great big world
Doesn’t know

Kyle's Song

Written By: Liz Solomon

I can’t believe that you’re gone
I can’t believe it’s true
Friends that have loved you
Tears they now cry
I can’t believe your time
Has already come
I can’t believe your life
Has passed you by

Your life was just beginning
Full of hope so many plans
Life taken so swiftly
With the anger of one man’s hand
The conflict of that night
You should have walked away
If only we could change it
If only you could stay

Your family crys together
A river of lonely tears
Your baby brother needs you
Well, he’s been robbed of so many years
If only you had learned the wisdom
Then you might still be here
It takes a man to walk away
Then to pretend he has no fear

Your life was just beginning
Full of hope so many plans
Life taken so swiftly
With the anger of one man’s hand
The conflict of that night
You should have walked away
If only we could change it
If only you could stay
