"Using Her Imagination"

Imaginary Girl, Liz's inaugural effort, is a blend of original folk and adult contemporary songs that rest easy on the ears. But beyond the velvet-throated melodic tunes lies something deeper - a glimpse into the tortured soul of a young woman who experienced first-hand the pain and isolation of domestic abuse. - Dean College Alumni Bulletin

"Taste testers happy as clams at Chowder Festival"

After three or four laps around the perimeter of the Melody Tent it didn't hurt to take a seat inside to beat the sun, digest and take in some music - there was plenty of room. The crowd under the tent was spotty at best, even for Liz Solomon's electrified acoustic guitar act. Her vocals in a range somewhere between Lisa Loeb and Neko Case, had most patrons staying in their seats for the duration of her set. If the weather wasn't perfect and the chowder not so good, perhaps more festival-goers would have come under the tent to enjoy the sounds of Solomon. - Cape Cod Times, June 2007
