Bio
Lizzy Cooperman recently performed on The Late Late Show with Craig
Ferguson, and has been featured on NBCs Last Comic Standing, MTVs Most
Valuable Players, and The History Channels History of the Joke: Part
One.
She is a winner of the Laugh Across America Contest and her stand-up comedy
has also been featured in New Faces and Dating It at the Just For Laughs
Festival in Montreal. Lizzy was a finalist at The Las Vegas Comedy Festival,
and featured in Best of the Fest at the New York Underground Comedy
Festival.
Lizzy brings to her comedy a triple-barreled background in theater, music
and poetry, and has been published in journals such as Mind Purge,
Musings, and Cosmoetica. She has written and performed two one-woman
shows called Homemade and Stew Art.
She began her comedy career touring in the Midwest, then moved to New York
where she was a regular at The Comic Strip Live. She currently resides in
Hollywood, California where she recently shot a pilot for Natural Nine
Productions and performs regularly at clubs and theaters.
