At last Seattle Finally gets what they been missing for years, their very own upcoming R&B star. This R&B singer / Producer, is setting a new standard for music in Washington all at the age of 19. L-Jay is unique, Wise, Has plenty of Courage, and NEVER gives up, he will always find a way to accomplish or get closer to his goal.
June 2, 2006 was his first solo appearance at the Marysville branch YMCA, after struggling to keep his former group “DV3” together he decided to try it on his own. Conversation was his hit single drawing over 200 people to see his dazzling performance. Also show casing his talent for the Snohomish County branch NAACP, The Nubian Jam in Forest Park, Tulalip’s Boys and Girls Club and the Bite of Seattle, One of the biggest events in Seattle.
L-Jay is almost ready for Round 2, with his new album entitled “Weekend” set to release late this summer of 2007. L-Jay wrote and produced his new album single handedly also throwing a different feel to his album by working with one of Seattle’s newest producers of Swayside Productions, also Collaborating with other various artists such as Evan Jackson aka “Voice”, and special guest appearance by Seattle’s rising 18yr. Rap artist A.K.
