L Marcus

My story starts on August 2, 1992. Raised by my mother and my step-father. My biological father was killed when I was 7 years of age. With no one to play catch with, or play a game of football with, I had no choice but to go to music. I mean of course I had a step-father, who was a father figure, but at the same time was not the type to play catch with you. So music is what I listened to and I can honestly say I fell in love with it at the age of 10. Now how did I get into writing and creating my own music? You can blame my older cousin for that. I remember sitting at her house one day and she put in a C.D. that had the song "Who Dat" by JT Money on it. The C.D. also consisted of the instrumental and the acapella version. Anyways, out of no where she gives me a blank sheet of paper and a pen, and told me to write something to the instrumental. I, on the other hand, didn't want to. I thought it was lame, etc. However, something just told me to do it, and I did. I haven't been able to stop since. I've started my own independent label called "Global Dreamz Music Group" & under that label I have a team that I am apart of called the "Allstar Money Gang". The other two members are Lil London, & Ray Dulé. Together, we've done alot. We have our very first mixtape out which is called, "The Rise of A.M.G". Also, I have my solo mixtapes, "Tha L Marcus Effect", and also my next one that isn't quite done called, "I Am L Marcus". So be on the lookout for me and my team.
